Sonic is my long waited puppy from Sing and Samber. I knew deep inside me wanted a Sing's son and I have been waiting for the right pup to come a long.
Sonic is very independent and confident since he is a little puppy dog. Nothing worried him. We took him to visit many places and he always walked in like he owned the places.
He keeps his distance from human contact. A lot of people think that he is not human friendly but he has his own way approaching people. The more you try to coward over him, the more he will avoid you. He will come to you when he thinks he wants to. For once, I thought training him will be quite a challenge as he will not come close when you call him. Sonic loves his toy very much, basically anything that you can get hold of. He has the perfect recall everytime, depending what your description of "perfect recall" is. To me, the dog that comes back to me in any position is my perfect recall. Sonic's recall is run back and hang on to his tuggy. He is the most aggressive tugger that I ever own. He could easily tug your arm off.
Sonic, like his daddy, is very intelligent and bright. He is very eager to learn any new tricks and he is enthusiastic in his Agility training. He's like born to do Agility. He is another ball mad. He reminds me so much of Sing in the way that they both want endless throw of a tennis ball.
Sonic was shown a little in the breed ring when he was younger. He is nicely structured to breed standard. He got a couple of 2nd placings, just behind a dog that already earned a Junior Warrant. His then problem was he's lack of coat.
Sonic and I will be concentrating in Agility. He has been competing for one season and won into Grade 5. He won the FAB Grand Prix Final and will be competing in the UKA Final in Beginners Steeplechase and CSJ Grand Prix December 2013.
Sonic is at stud to approve bitches only. He has sired a litter of sable puppies out of Sunny (Belsharose Sunset). All the puppies are very outgoing, forward, intelligent. Three of them will be doing Agility and one will be competing in Obedience. We are so looking forward to seeing these cracking puppies competing in the future.
